Meet the Lady Beekeeper

I’m an engineer by day with a passion for crafts, cooking, and sewing by night.  And as of late, I’ve been spending most of my time just mommin’ it with my baby boy.  Shoot me an email if you want to chat about anything I post.  And even though I’m on a temporary beekeeping hiatus, I’m always happy to talk bees.

    Hi Lexi,
I have been reading your blog all evening and have loved it. Erin had shown me some posts in the past, but today she sent me the whole thing. You are awesome! In my opinion, Erin hit the jackpot when it comes to in-laws and sister-in-laws. Dan and I have considered raising bees. Next time we see each other maybe you can give us some advice.
    Take care,
    Karen Boschert

Thank you Karen!! I would be happy to discuss bees anytime! I’m hoping this year is the year that I actually get some honey. Coincidentally I got a new package of bees today! I will post about them next week!

Lexi, not that you need anything else to do, but might you update “Meet the Lady Beekeeper”? In addition to “engineer by day with a passion for crafts, cooking, and sewing by night”, you are a loving Mom, loving daughter, supportive spouse, Corgi owner/lover, New England homeowner, walking enthusiast (esp. w/ dog), terrific skier (water & snow) and so much more…

Just a thought. Thanks for all you are and do.

    Love, Overton

Haha!! I have not looked at this page for ages! You’re right – it does need an update! I appreciate your extremely flattering suggestions! Next nap time I’ll have to amend it…

This is a really spiffy little blog! Found some really useful stuff and will be sure to try out some of your ideas. I’m keeping it bookmarked for the beekeeping for later, but now? I have 3 birthdays next month and that sprinkle surprise cake is lit!

I hope you’ll hear more about beekeeping soon. I keep telling myself it’s time to get back into it! In the meantime, good luck with all the birthdays, I hope the sprinkle cake turns out!!!
